Every 3D artist knows that the material plays a key role in creating a realistic and compelling images. Whether it is artificial or natural materials, you create a system infusions of materials, textures in CINEMA 4D provides incredible control over the properties of 3D objects. You can easily set the properties of an object: color, light, brightness, transparency, reflection, environment, fog, glow, animation, textures, and many others.
Dr. Sassi has had a varied career combining art and technology. He has an advanced degree in Architecture, a Bachelor second (MoFA) from the University of Art in Berlin in Art, Set-Design and Architecture, Painting and Video and a Ph.D. from Technical University Berlin in Computer Animation. He was the chief designer in an Architecture firm, ran his own paint studio and provided technical support and set design for feature and short-films in Europe. In 1999 he founded his own company, doc-media communication. Along the way he has had his work featured in over 20 exhibitions in Europe. He has been working with 3D, Photoshop and numerous other applications over more than one decade. Dr. Sassi has been a member of the Pixel Corps since 2004, and has produced over 700 dtts tutorials on CINEMA 4D for its members. 800 tutorials over all. Kai has been using CINEMA 4D since Version 5 and has almost dedicated his life to learning everything about the application. He has taught 3D, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects applications at several Canadian Institutes and moderated for three years on CG Society's CGTalk. Currently Kai is running a small company in Vancouver, LucentDreams Animation, working on various in-house and outsourced projects including commercials, film and live theater. Kai is dedicated to training others in CINEMA 4D and general 3D. Currently, he is a key tutorial contributor for Cineversity -MAXON US new online education and resource web site.
